Established in 1983, Burnt Store Isles (BSI) is a premier golfing and boating community, situated on the adjacent to beautiful Charlotte Harbor, Florida’s second largest Harbor. This well cared for waterfront community is but 3 miles south of the quant and historic downtown area of Punta Gorda, Florida, just off US-41, and within two miles of Interstate 75. Located an hour south of Sarasota and 25 minutes north of Fort Myers, the residents of Burnt Store Isles find that its location is far away enough away to project an unhurried way of life, but still close enough to explore all that Southwest Florida has to offer.

A deed-restricted community, Burnt Store Isles is organized by the Burnt Store Isles Association, Inc. (BSIA). Within Burnt Store Isles, you will find beautiful custom-built homes, constructed with a Mediterranean flair. 30% of the approximately 1400 homes and home sites are situated along the many wide and easily navigable saltwater canals. Similar to the older community of Punta Gorda Isles, just to the north, these canal waterways are fitted with seawalls and are maintained by the City of Punta Gorda. The Burnt Store Isles waterway system has easy and unobstructed access to the vastness Charlotte Harbor, Both the Peace and Myakka Rivers and of course the Gulf of Mexico beyond.

Although the majority of the homes in Burnt Store Isles are situated along the canal system, roughly 30 percent of the residences border the greens of the 18-hole Twin Isles Country Club. Twin Isles is the heart of Burnt Store Isles, and is a first-class, private county club. Member owned, this lovely club provides not only championship golf memberships, but also promotes competitive tennis programs. Residents take pleasure in the variety of pastime activities which Twin Isles offers its members, including both fine and casual dining and a host other community events.
